Bowl of apples
Something about the crisp weather in September and October makes me want to entertain.  My inspiration? The Fall recipes in the latest Bon Appétit.  We're having a few folks over for dinner tonight and I'm making a Gâteau Breton aux Pommes.  It's just a fancy way of saying "apple cake" but it's looks really impressive, non? More on that next week.  Meanwhile, have a fantastic weekend!
