First Friday-Did they sell?

In the Shepherd Park edition of First Friday, I featured two houses.  Let's explore how long they were on the market and the final sale price.

1121 Kalmia St, NW was a renovated, semi-attached townhouse with three bedrooms, two full baths and two half baths.  The kitchen has been renovated with granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.  The property featured hardwood floors, new windows, and a slate patio.
It's 1391 square feet and was initially listed for $475,000.  It had several price reductions.  It sold for $399,000 with a $11,900 seller subsidy in 27 days.
1325 iris 1325 iris lr1325 Iris St, NW was a Tudor that hasn't been on the market since the 60's.  Built in 1929, it's four bedrooms, two and half baths with 2,246 square feet.  Yearly taxes are $4,912.  It was listed for $599,000.  It sold for $575,000 in 17 days.  It featured refinished hardwood floors, new gutters, and it's been freshly painted.  Both the kitchen and baths need updating.  It also doesn't have central air conditioning.  What is does have is tons of character and architectural details, a screened in porch, a two car garage and a slate roof.
