In May, I fetaured this marvelous mid century modern home in Chevy Chase, MD. Apparently, I wasn't the only person who thought it was fantastic. It sold 135K OVER list price. That's amazing!
Built by an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright, 2719 Daniel St. has the classic FLW harmony of nature and design. It's nestled into a hilltop and surrounded by trees. There are floor to ceiling windows everywhere and a natural stone fireplace and accents pillars. There's an open floor plan that includes a living room, dining room, family room and kitchen. It's been recently renovated in a tasteful manner that keeps with the original spirit of the house. One of my favorite features of the house (besides those gorgeous green views) is the lap pool off the master bedroom. Yea. You read that correctly.
The current owners have been in the house since 1972 and purchased it for $63,500. Isn't that incredible?!
