DC is such a beautiful city. Last weekend, I was out with clients that are moving here from another state. I had a ball showing off the city. I love the juxtaposition of old and new, the sense of history as you wander through Capitol Hill and the edgy, urbaness of U St. and H St. It's an excellent reminder about why I love DC when I'm frustrated about bad MD/VA drivers or the *#@ at the post office on 14th St. Smooches DC.
How was your week? Mine was fantastic except for a regrettable week long feud with the post office. At the end of January, the USPS raised stamp rates. On Monday, when I went to purchase the new $.34 post card stamps, there weren't any available. The new stamps get released today and won't be in stock in the post office locations till mid February. I literally spent Monday-Thursday trying to get my hands on the new $.34 post card stamp. I don't understand how any business increases prices and then isn't ready with a product. This is why the USPS is failing.
