Sushi Taro is the best sushi in DC. My husband and I have been regulars for years and we enjoy lunch there at least once a month. It's my husband's go to place when he needs a sushi fix.
Personally, I'm not an adventurous sushi diner. My first sushi experience was in a small town in Georgia on the way back from the Masters. It was not good and it scarred me. I only eat rolls and over the years, I've eaten lots of fish that wasn't fresh. I can happily state that's never occurred at Sushi Taro. You can tell from the photos which is my meal and which is my husband's. This particular day, he enjoyed a ramen special and a bara chirashi (chef's choice) set. I stuck to my spicy tuna and yellow tail rolls. As always, it was delicious!
