I'm late on posting about this event since it's TODAY! I'm working today so I can't attend the festivities but the U St. Funk Parade sounds like a ton of fun. Starting at noon, there's going to be multiple musical performances along U St. Then from 5-7 pm there's a parade. From 7-10 pm, various locals on U St. have featured musical performances.
