Last weekend, Union Market hosted it's first retail event at Dock 5. Thread is a curated event with multiple types of merchandisers: apparel, home and beauty, shoes and accessories, and art. Union Market hopes to make this a monthly event and if they do, you should check it out. It's a cool assortment of items and the participants will vary at each event. I snapped up some turkish kilim pillows at Meg Birams's outpost plus a great necklace from Scarpa. I googled all the pieces at St. Clair Jewelry and perused the home items at MACK home. Thread also included a lot of items for men. My favorites were Mutiny, Hugh & Crye, Moore & Giles, and Shockoe Denim. There were 29 vendors and I've neglected a bunch.
