I love my kitchen but I can't stand my kitchen cabinet color. They're standard builder grade cabinets and if I didn't love interior design, they'd be fine. But I do love interior design and I constantly see fantastic kitchens. I don't dislike my cabinets enough to replace them. Instead, I want to paint them. I've day dreamed about painting them light grey. I've also thought about painting them white. However, I don't want to replace my granite or my back splash. When I fooled around in photoshop, neither light grey or white looked right. Recently I found the perfect solution: charcoal grey cabinets. As you can see from the picture I tweaked in photoshop (on the right), painting the cabinets a deeper grey would work with the granite and backsplash. What do you think? Should I do it?
