Have you been to Salt & Sundry at Union Market? It's an adorable boutique full of stylish entertaining goods: tableware, linens, vintage glasses, barware, artisanal foods and hand hewn farm tables.
The owner, Amanda McClements, is also the author of the widely read food blog Metrocurean. The shop offers a colorful, unique mix of items. It's the perfect place to grab a hostess gift or a new set of plates if you want to jazz up your table for a dinner party.
I like to go to Union Market just to visit her store. I'm constantly wishing I had a house vs. a condo so I could fit one of the hand hewn farm tables that are built by her Dad. I'm also a *tiny* bit obsessed with the linens she offers. Go visit!
