Who and what do you think is cool? It's a question that drives most industries: fashion, entertainment, music, interior design and technology. It's a question that shapes our psyche as a nation. That's what the American Cool exhibit discusses at the National Portrait Gallery. I went over the weekend and it's an intriguing, fun concept. I enjoy popular culture, trends and what's "new". It's also fascinating to look back and see how we got here. As the sign says, it runs till September 7th. Go check it out.
