I love living in DC. I love my friends, my job and most of all, DC itself. While city living isn’t for everyone, I find it fascinating. I like parking my car and walking down the street to the post office, the farmer’s market and the dry cleaners. I enjoy trying new restaurants and bars. I’m constantly impressed with the endless free activities all over the city. I find it hilarious to catalog the strange (hello guy walking his parrot). It’s the last week of summer and DC is dead because everyone is on vacation. Traffic is manageable, the restaurants and bars aren’t clogged with people. it’s so refreshing! Next week, Congress will be back in session and the Fall grind will begin. Meanwhile, I’m enjoying having the city to myself. What do you love about where you live?
